Downsize for Diversity

For years, the Lincoln MCC solicited and sold donated items through estate and private sales as part of our fundraising efforts. Thanks to the extraordinary commitment by MCC team member Joanna Schmergel, since 2017, over $163,000 has been raised through the sale of donated items. These funds go into a policy-driven endowment fund that will allow MCC to support its mission with a long-term horizon. Additionally, this story has been captured in a book so that other friends of METCO and nonprofit organizations might learn from them.

Art Sales

Join Our Board

We are always looking for parents, caregivers, and community members from both Boston and Lincoln to join our board and contribute to our fundraising and programming efforts. There are no dues and you can join at any time. The Board meets monthly during the school year, primarily virtually, on Wednesday mornings.
